Live-in-caregiver

## About the Position

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Live-in Caregiver / Nanny to provide in-home care for a family in Manitoba. The successful candidate will primarily assist an adult family member with significant medical needs while also providing care and supervision for our children, including an autistic child who requires additional patience, understanding, and tailored support.

## Responsibilities

- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance to an adult requiring daily support.
- Assist with mobility, dressing, daily hygiene routine, grooming, and other daily living activities as needed.
- Prepare nutritious meals (Local dishes. e.g. Owho and starch) and snacks.
- Provide medication reminders as instructed by the family.
- Accompany the care recipient to medical appointments when required.
- Provide supervision and care for children in the home.
- Prepare children's meals and snacks.
- Assist with school routines and age-appropriate activities.
- Perform light housekeeping related to the care of the family, including laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean living environment.
- Maintain confidentiality and treat all family members with dignity and respect.

## Qualifications

- Minimum 2-3 years caregiving, nanny, or healthcare experience is mandatory.
- First Aid and CPR certification is mandatory.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Compassionate, dependable, patient, and trustworthy.
- Able to work legally in Canada.
- ⁠High school diploma
- ⁠Must be 18 years and above
- ⁠Valid driver’s licence required
