Job Details
• Location: Delta, BC V4G 1C9
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $38.50 hourly / 35 to 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time
• Time of Work: Early Morning, Morning, Day, Evening
• Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Requirements
• Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years, or equivalent experience
• Field of Study: Logistics, materials, and supply chain management
• Language: Ability to communicate in English
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
• Onsite Work: Must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely
• Work Setting: International-level trading and procurement operations
Responsibilities
• Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, products, and business services
• Assess the organization's purchasing requirements and develop appropriate specifications
• Develop detailed specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on business requirements
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and offers with suppliers
• Consult and maintain professional relationships with suppliers
• Review and compare supplier quotations
• Determine and negotiate contract terms and conditions
• Establish and monitor delivery schedules
• Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and materials
• Contact clients and suppliers to resolve purchasing, delivery, and service issues
• Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization
• Provide customer service and respond to client inquiries
• Hire, train, supervise, and support purchasing and logistics staff
• Supervise: 1 to 2 staff members
