Job Summary

The applicant will also have to work in a fast paced and highly demanding environment, including fulfilling commercial orders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, primarily South Asian cuisine
• Ensure all food is handled and stored safely, adhering to food safety regulations
• Serve meals to customers with attention to presentation and quality
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas
• Assist with meal preparation and ingredient sourcing as needed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management
• Uphold high standards of customer service during all interactions
• Complete commercial orders

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
• Familiarity with food handling and safety practices is essential
• Skills in cooking, meal preparation, and kitchen operations are highly valued
• A background in the food industry or related fields will be advantageous
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are necessary
