Salary: $ 20.85 CAD / hour

Duties:

• Bathing, dressing, and feeding the toddler
• Preparing formulas and changing diapers for the toddler
• Supervising and caring for the toddler in the employer’s own residence
• Planning, preparing, and serving healthy and nutritious meals for the toddler

• Overseeing toddler’s activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed by employer
• Following the employer’s instructions and preferences regarding the toddler’s routine, discipline, education and health including keeping records of daily activities and health information regarding the toddler
• Maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home
• Performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties related to the toddler

• Reporting any issues or concerns to the employer promptly and professionally
• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations, and not engaging in any illegal or unethical conduct

Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school is required;

• 2+ years of experience in a child caregiving role is required;
• Experience caring for a toddler is required;

• Must be reliable and have excellent communication skills;
• Must be nurturing, attentive, and have effective interpersonal skills; and
• Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends, if needed.
