Duties:
- Bathing, dressing, and feeding the toddler
- Preparing formulas and changing diapers for the toddler
- Supervising and caring for the toddler in the employer’s own residence
- Planning, preparing, and serving healthy and nutritious meals for the toddler
- Overseeing toddler’s activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed by employer
- Following the employer’s instructions and preferences regarding the toddler’s routine, discipline, education and health including keeping records of daily activities and health information regarding the toddler
- Maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties related to the toddler
- Reporting any issues or concerns to the employer promptly and professionally
- Complying with all applicable laws and regulations, and not engaging in any illegal or unethical conduct
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school is required;
- 2+ years of experience in a child caregiving role is required;
- Experience caring for a toddler is required;
- Must be reliable and have excellent communication skills;
- Must be nurturing, attentive, and have effective interpersonal skills; and
- Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends, if needed.
