Salary: $22.75 hourly for 30 hours per week

Job Duties

• Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
• Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
• Perform minor repairs on appliances
• Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies
• Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
• Maintain inventory of supplies

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 7 months of relevant experience in general maintenance or a similar role.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physically capable of bending, crouching, lifting, and working in various weather conditions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Reliable, organized, and safety-conscious.
• Able to handle weight up to 13.5 kg.
• · Experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is an asset.
