About the Position

Thi Hoang Ngan Thach (Lucy Thach) is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain a private residence in a clean, organized, and sanitary condition. The successful candidate will perform a variety of housekeeping duties to ensure the home is well maintained and comfortable.

Main Duties:

  • Sweep, mop, wash, wax, and polish floors.
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Dust furniture, fixtures, and household surfaces.
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Make beds and change linens.
  • Launder, fold, and iron household linens and clothing.
  • Empty trash containers and dispose of waste appropriately.
  • Restock household supplies and cleaning products as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all rooms and common areas.
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the employer.

Employment Requirements

  • No formal education required.
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an asset. At least 7 months to 1 year work experience
  • Ability to work independently and maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and detail oriented.
  • Physically capable of performing repetitive cleaning tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and carrying household items.

  • Overtime pay in accordance with British Columbia Employment Standards legislation.
