• Salary: $22.00 hourly / 35 to 40 hours per week

Job Requirements

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Language: Ability to communicate in English
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
• Onsite Work: Must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely
• Work Setting: Retail service establishment

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of retail staff
• Assign sales workers to duties and monitor performance
• Hire and train staff or arrange for training
• Establish employee work schedules
• Order merchandise and maintain inventory levels
• Authorize payments by cheque and returns of merchandise
• Resolve customer complaints, requests, and supply shortages
• Sell merchandise and provide customer assistance when required
• Manage cash handling procedures and daily transactions
• Conduct performance reviews and support staff development
• Organize and maintain inventory and store displays
• Support promotional displays and retail merchandising activities
• Supervise: 1 to 2 staff members
