Salary: $17.00 / hour

Job requirements:

Languages: English or French

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: Will train

Security and safety: Bondable

Responsibilities:

Tasks:

1.Receiving: Receive the fresh produce (herring and alewife)

2.Storing: Rotate (by using forklift) and salt fish, put them in pails and stock them in storage.

3.Smoking: Hang and drain fish, make the fire to create smoke and smoke them.

4.Packaging and shipping: make and assemble the boxes, pack the fish and load the boxes in the container

5.Filleting: Clean, cut and fillet fishes

6.Cleaning and Maintenance; Cleaning the smokehouse after operation hours.

Weight handling:
Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)

Own tools/equipment:
Steel-toed safety boots
Gloves
