Job Details

Location: Vancouver, BC V5R 5H4
Work Location: On site
Salary: $37.00 to $40.00 hourly (to be negotiated) / 35 to 40 hours per week
Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time
Time of Work: Early Morning, Morning, Day, Evening
Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Requirements

Education: Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
Language: Ability to communicate in English
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Onsite Work: Must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely
Work Setting: Wrestling / Martial Arts Training Environment

Responsibilities

  • Carry out management duties
  • Coordinate competitive programs
  • Develop well planned competitive schedules and programs
  • Plan, develop and implement training and practice sessions
  • Motivate and prepare athletes or teams for competitive events or games
  • Participate in coaching clinic instruction
  • Analyze and evaluate athletes' or team's performance
  • Observe and evaluate prospective athletes' skills and performance
  • Recruit professional coaches and athletes
  • Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques
